WOSOCK
This first project, called Wosock, was designed for a shortlist whose purpose was to take part in a design team.

We were asked to solve any necessity of our university, without any restriction.  This group and I thought that one of the things which my university needed was a place to rest at the library. In this way, we tried to design a kind of multi-function object which could be used by all the library’s users. Being the target group for this product, users from 18 to 25 years old because they are supposed to be university students.

Wosock is a kind of multifunctional seat. It’s formed by a metal structure in form of squared long tubes. The sides where you can sit and lie down, are made of a comfortable and soft material, like a mat. The rest, where you can put drinks, food or, simply, a book, is made of wood.

This seat has been thought to adopt different positions depending on the situation. Concretely, five positions.
Wosock has been created as a concept of  group of various products consolidated in just one.
According to its aesthetic, it doesn’t overdecorate the rest area, because the white colour of the mat and the wood are neutral for this room.

Taking all these factors into account,  our goal is achieved: The possibility of being able to  rest for a while, if a break is needed after a long day studying at the library.
